I can agree that ANET should have fixed the global damage reduction bug/feature a long time ago....but I dont know why you people act so surprised that it got fixed. It's been speculated that it would get for so damn long now....and now it's consistant with other profession's armor where effects are never global but local.

I don't know about that. I can still solo farm Mahgos with my warrior. Dolyak Signet, Defy Pain, and "Watch Yourself" are completely unaffected by this nerf and that's all that was ever needed to farm Hydras anyway...

I know it way come as a surprise to you all but you can actually take a secondary profession that isn't Monk if you need elemental damage reduction.

So I think I say for most FoW warriors can we get a refund on our boots then as they are now usless

This is completely lame not only is now knights even more useless as if its -2 vs phsyical and runes only do -3 on one bit...I fail to see the advantage here.

The classic glads arms, torso, legs and knights boots was by far not the best armor in the game it was mearly a good all round armor you could still have platemail which was the second best def armor or Beserker armor which pumped up your defense or even the Stance armor.

This sucks big time, it'll take a while to get used to it but I think this is unfair how I was not told it was a 'bug' and now im getting punished for it

Maybe if arena net could perhaps refund me if I send in prof I own the armor or something like that, its one thing that some one has to buy 15k armor but when its 100k+ and a very hard quest just to balance it again. I don't feel as if im getting rewarded that feels like a punishment. If they don't maybe I'll just Ebay get the money that way rather do it that way than to farm for anouther 3 weeks

You never fight melee opponents? How is the shield useless? It still provides 16 AL vs everything, something every whiner in the thread on update is forgetting. And damage reduction vs physical which is not exactly rare.

Assassins have armor with AL vs such specific things slashing piercing blunt.

I am pretty sure you are speaking of Elemental Resistance, which may I add, has negative armor vs physical damage. Most non W/Mo builds with other secondaries have some sort of side effect if you want to buff your warrior up.

Yeah.Going into pvp with W/Me and Elmental Resistance is retarded.

From a farming point of view...the mobs that rely solely on Physical damage and don't have a mesmer/necro/ele near usually get nerfed

So, damage reduction sucks now, Knights and Ascalon sets are more useless than ever and a lot of warriors are pissed...
